Set of 4 dining chairs Model C2 By Willy Rizzo For Cidue was made in Italy in the 1970s.
An ingenious photographer turned furniture designer because, according to him, "Scandinavian furniture were neither comfortable enough nor luxurious enough." He created the first furniture for his own apartment. Willy Rizzo never set out to be a furniture designer, it was just that his friends saw what he did in his apartment and fell in love with his furniture. Magnificent geometric shapes, elegant simplicity, comfort and solidity. The originality of his furniture comes from his independence as a designer who has never copied or collaborated, which explains this striking and very different style.
The chairs feature original thick, black cowhide leather and elegant, flowing tubular chrome frames.
Very good vintage condition. Chrome is in good condition. Chrome on one of the chairs have small damage, check the last photo. The leather shows signs of wear and age, which gives them character and charm.
The chairs are really durable, sturdy, and heavy. All parts are original, never restored. It will be a wonderful decoration for your office, bar, kitchen or living room. Thanks to the power base and thick leather, they look very solid and thorough. The weight of each chair is 8 kg.
