Murano glass pendant lamp Fazzoletto Italy 1970s Mid-century lighting Retro home decor white lamp
The beautiful Murano glass chandelier Fazzoletto made in Italy in the 70s. Despite its weight, the chandelier looks very airy and delicate. It will undoubtedly decorate your home and will delight you for many years.
A transparent glass shade with a "Pulegoso" treatment that adds precious texture and a milky white "Lattimo" stripe.
The "pulegoso" glass is made using a method that was often used in the 1920s, with the addition of gasoline to thereby cause the glass to boil in a melt. Countless tiny air bubbles of irregular shape inside the glass mass deliberately limit its transparency.
"Lattimo" is a special glass processing.
This is a white milky-like glass in which the opacity is provided by the presence of microcrystals. The crystals change the index of refraction, thus giving the glass mass a milky appearance.
There is an internal chips on the glass (please see the last photo). Fully working. E27 bulb required.
