The Quadrifoglio pendant lamp was made Studio 6G, the Harvey Guzzini design-team led by Luigi Massoni in 1960-1970s. This fabulous very rare lamp, the 'Quadrifoglio' model, was designed by Luigi Massoni and made by Guzzini. In 1962 Luigi Massoni was attracted to lead the design team. He worked for Fratelli Guzzini and Harvey Guzzini until 1976. Luigi Massoni designed many iconic lamps in that period. This is one of the most famous icons of the mid-century style. The Quadrifoglio pendant lamp is often attributed to Gae Aulenti, but this is not the case. The Quadrifoglio pendant lamp bears some resemblance to the lamp Pipistrello Gae Aulenti designed for Martinelli Luce. Apparently, that's how the confusion arose. Gae Aulenti started to work for iGuzzini in 1985, 17 years after the design of the Quadrofoglio. (Information taken from the site vintageinfo.be) The lamp is in very good condition, fully functional. Maximum height with cable 95 cm. Requires standard Edison E27 with a screw lamp and 3x E14. Suitable for all countries in the world. One metal shaft has a patina. Width: 46 centimetres Height: 50 centimetres
