Mid-century office chair Dorsal, designed in 1980 by Emilio Ambas and Giancarlo Piretti for the Italian company Openark. The Argentine-Italian duo have collaborated since the late seventies and, in addition to the Dorsal armchair, created another ergonomic armchair called the Vertebra. Piretti is best known for his collaboration with the Italian company Castelli. The frame of the chair is a combination of steel and plastic, the upper half of the back is spring-loaded and can be folded back. The chair is stackable and is in very good condition with minimal signs of use.
These chairs were manufactured in March 1984. Excellent vintage condition with minimal traces of use.
