Unusual unique large Murano glass pendant lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega made in Italy in the 1960s. The unusual Murano glass is called "lattimo". This is a white milky-like glass in which the opacity is provided by the presence of microcrystals. The crystals change the index of refraction, thus giving the glass mass a milky appearance. The uniqueness of this lamp is given by a rare spring suspension. Very good vintage condition, no damage or chips. Height: 105 centimetres Width: 35 centimetres.
