Very rare porcelain figurine Horse and Jockey by Max Hermann Fritz for Fraureuth Kunstabteilung. Made in Germany in the 1920. A rare museum exhibit. Due to the growing demand for figurines and decorative porcelain, Fraureuth AG acquired a traditional factory in Wallendorf between 1917 and 1919. The art department was established at Fraureuth in 1917. Already in 1918, 70 models by renowned artists, in addition to vases and jars, also included human figures and animal sculptures. Max Hermann Fritz (1873-1948), a German sculptor and porcelain modeller, initially a student of Lorenz Hutschenreuther in Lichte, Thuringia, and later based in Dresden, designed numerous animal figures for Meissen, Frauenreuth, and Rosenthal. The vintage sculpture is in excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: Width: 32 cm / 12.6 inches Height: 32 cm / 12.6 inches Depth: 7 cm / 2.75 inches We offer a secure worldwide shipping.
