The base is a cast - iron, heavy sewing machine base from the very rare nowadays company "Linzer Nähmaschinen und Fahrräderfabrik Johann Jax" from the Austrian city Linz, the model «Christoph Columbus», the age of the machine is more than a hundred years. Foot in perfect condition, no cracks or chips. All the mechanics work perfectly, everything is spinning and spinning as needed. The base was cleaned of old color in a sandblasting chamber and twice covered with black acrylic. Looks like new! The table top is a solid oak, one plank, dried for over ten years.
