Mid-century orange murano pendant lamp Eclisse by Carlo Nason made in Italy in the 1960s.
Named "Eclisse" which means eclipse in Italian, this lovely lamp consists of two stunning hand-blown Murano glasses that can individually rotate, allowing to hide or reveal the light bulb and creating unique refraction effects.
Carlo Nason, born in 1935 in Murano, Venice, hails from a family of expert glassmakers. His father, Vincenzo Nason, established the esteemed glass business NasonMoretti and later opened another glass enterprise named Vincenzo Nason & C in 1941. Carlo Nason received comprehensive training in the art of glassblowing from a young age, acquiring knowledge about the unique properties of glass and the intricate techniques involved in molding and decorating it.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
