Original vintage murano pendant lamp Tinta by Renato Toso and Noti Massari. Hand blown glass with multicolor murrine. Original "Leucos" label. 1971. Made in Italy. Cable length is adjustable.
Excellent vintage condition. Chandelier height with cable 100 cm (max height 200 cm). The lamp weighs 6.5 kg.

Renato Toso (1940) and Noti Massari (1939), Venetians by origin, culture and election, graduated in architecture in 1967 in the class of Carlo Scarpa (1906–1978) and married the following year. Since then, together with their children, they have created an architecture, engineering and design studio in the interior of the Venetian Lagoon. They got their first experience at the Fratelli Toso 1854 glassworks, which was a pioneer in adopting art glass after the collapse of the Republic of Venice. Gradually, they began to collaborate with various designers, transferring the craftsmanship of the island of Murano to series production. They work with many Italian furniture and interior companies and have used their talent in lighting projects for Vistosi, Artemide, Foscarini, Venini and Leucos. They have participated in numerous conferences, shows and exhibitions such as the Palazzo Grassi and the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice, group exhibitions at the Louvre in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art and the Corning Glass Museums in New York. They have also won a number of awards, including first prize at the Venice Biennale, awards at the 12th Triennale in Milan and the national design competition in Trieste. . Since 2002 they have been designing and doing architectural work in Tanzania for a Benedictine monastery.
