Beautiful 2-Tone brown pendant lamp Petticoat by Peill & Putzler made in Düren (Germany) in the 1970s. Peill und Sohn was founded in 1903 in Düren, a small town in Western Germany. In 1947, it merged with Putzler, a glass and lighting company founded in 1869, to become Peill + Putzler. The company employed 1,500 people in the 1950s and produced glass for other light industry companies in Europe. However, in 2004, it declared bankruptcy. The lamp is in good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Dimensions: Width: 33 cm / 13 inches Height: 25 cm / 9.85 inches Lamp requires European E27 lightbulb and compatible with E26 USA socket.
