Antique silver plate crumb scoop by Atkin Brothers made in Sheffield, England, the end of the 19th century. The Atkin Brothers can trace their roots back to Sheffield silversmith, Thomas Law, who started in 1750. His sons, John and William, continued the business in 1824. John Oxley and Henry Atkin then joined the company in 1829 and took over the original firm. By 1840, the partnership dissolved and Henry continued the trade alone.
